iPartnership designed the interiors and
landscape of the 300 room Pan Pacific
Glenmarie Resort in Subang. The resort
attracts the business and leisure markets,
both local and international. The resort,
part of an extensive golf course
development, provides a wide range of
recreational facilities. Water features and
a variety of landscape textures and colours
seek to integrate the buildings with the
surrounding landscape in a sympathetic way.
The landscape design takes account of views
and aspects from the resort and integrates
traffic and pedestrian floors.
The project also included the development
of a landscape master plan for the adjoining
HICOM Corporation’s headquarters and
office park. A six storey HICOM headquarters
building is set in an office park immediately
adjacent to, and interconnected with, the
golf course and resort. The curtain-wall
building is the anchor development in the
park which features a tropical rainforest
theme and formal water elements,
including a tropical stream through the site
connecting with a pond and waterfall at the
entrance of the HICOM headquarters.
The landscape design centres on the
integration of water features in the main
lobby with external landscaping. The distinct
gardens include waterfalls, fountains, a Koi
pond, swimming pool, sunbathing decks, and
picturesque walkways separated by pergolas
and bridges.
